A new cafe "Garden Republic" was opened in Lviv in memory of Dmytro Pashchuk, who died at the front
Today I visited a new institution in Lviv, which has a special history. During the inspection, I will tell and show the location, talk about the dishes prepared in the establishment and talk with the employees of the establishment about the concept and guests of the establishment. In Lviv, a new cafe "Garden Republic" was opened in memory of Dmytro Pashchuk, who died at the front and who previously opened Port Wine Bar and Papi in Lviv. Dmytro Pashchuk died on March 12, 2023 in the Kherson region, he was injured by a kamikaze drone. After the start of a full-scale war, he went to the front as a volunteer, fought as part of the Special Operations Forces. Pashchuk started working on the launch of the "Garden Republic" even before the full-scale invasion, writes the Lviv portal "Tvoye Misto". "Despite performing combat tasks at the front, he always found time to unite the team and work on the concept of the new Lviv institution," the publication notes. The institution began work on the site of the former "Carmel" coffee shop, located at 20-A Vinnychenka Street. "Republic of the Holy Garden" is the name of a youth informal association that existed in Lviv during 1968–1982. The association was located in the "Holy Garden" - that was the name given to the abandoned garden of the former Carmelite monastery inside the residential quarter between Lysenko, Vinnichenko, Prosvita and Korolenko streets.
