Gastro Bloggers Day will take place on March 28 in Lviv, uniting food bloggers, artisanal producers, and business professionals from different industries.
This was reported to the Ukrainian School of Hospitality by the event organizers.
The first large-scale Gastro Bloggers Day took place in Odesa a year ago. At that time, the event successfully brought together about a hundred local producers and bloggers.
Nelia Shpilieva, organizer of workshops, conferences, and other events:The idea for Gastro Bloggers Day belongs to Vitalia Dubovetska (culinary events, food blogging). The format evolved from her practice of hosting boutique events in Kyiv hubs, where local producers met influencers who value high-quality products. It was Vitalia who proposed creating something different from a classic conference with speakers and lectures — a platform primarily for live interaction and real-time collaborations. The event format includes:• Culinary masterclasses and tastings.• Practical strategies from influencers and experienced entrepreneurs.• Partner brand presentations and other integration activities. The headliner of the Lviv event will be Ilona Hvozdieva — mentor and dance coach, finalist of "So You Think You Can Dance" and "So You Think You Can Dance: Return of the Heroes," winner of "Dancing with the Stars," founder of the UWU women’s community, expert in female body movement, and creator of the WES women’s space (online courses and educational dance programs).Gastro Bloggers Day will also feature the presentation of a Ukrainian craft market research study. This study aims to evaluate key challenges and needs of small producers, barriers to legalization, and access to markets and financing. The research was conducted by the consulting company Pro-Consulting as part of the CraftUP Ukraine educational and grant project, organized by AgroPortal.ua with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The main goal of Gastro Bloggers Day is to create an environment where producers and opinion leaders can meet, test products, create content, and launch joint projects. For brands, this is an opportunity to work with a real audience through bloggers, and for influencers — to gain access to high-quality products," notes Shpilieva.
The organizers plan to expand the event's geography and host Gastro Bloggers Day in other Ukrainian cities.
