133 The Department of Information and Measurement Technologies of the ICTA conducted a training within the framework of the QMSEEI project

In order to promote and study the European idea, disseminate European experience in Ukraine on quality management in education and industry, a training was held at the Lviv Polytechnic National University on March 5-6, 2025. The event was held within the framework of the international educational project “European Experience in Implementing Quality Management Systems for Products and Services” of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module program (European Experience in Implementing Quality Management Systems for Products and Services, No. 101085516 – QMSEEI – ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH). The participants of the training were representatives of educational institutions and enterprises and organizations of western Ukraine.

The training was opened by the Director of the Institute of Computer Technologies, Automation and Metrology, Associate Professor Yuriy Kostiv, who emphasized the relevance of the topic of the event and emphasized that Lviv Polytechnic, despite the high results achieved in national rankings, continues to work on improving the quality of educational services, using European experience.

The training program was rich and interesting. During two days, 12 reports were delivered and practical classes were held.

The Head of the Department of Information and Measurement Technologies, Professor Tetyana Bubela, spoke about the risk-oriented approach in ISO 9001.

Associate Professor of the Department of Information and Measurement Technologies and Project Manager of the QMSEEI Alla Ivanyshyn shared European and international approaches to quality management, as well as the features of certification and internal audits of quality management systems for products and services.Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine Roman Baytsar gave a report on personnel in the quality management system - development, motivation, conformity assessment.Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine Vasyl Yatsuk spoke about the topic of digitalization of quality assurance according to European experience.The invited speakers of the event were:

Khrystyna Vasilykha - Ph.D., Metrology Engineer, Head of Quality of the Calibration Laboratory, LLC NVP "Technovagy";

Olga Chorna - Head of the Product Quality Department, LLC "Rodynna Kovbaska";Viktoriya Moiseeva – Quality Engineer, PrJSC “Enzym Company”;Mykhailo Shevelyuk – Head of the Hospitality School, Master of Industrial Training, Ukrainian Hospitality School, Lviv Professional College of Modeling and Restaurant Business;Igor Prachun – Director of Quality and Occupational Safety, Leoni Wiring Systems Ukraine LLC;Yulia Komar and Rostyslav Yavorsky – Regional Manager and Administrator of the WebUniverse Programming School.In addition to participants from the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”, the event was attended by 31 people from educational and industrial organizations of Western Ukraine, including the following institutions:

Following the training, testing was conducted, which confirmed the acquisition of knowledge on the topics discussed.

The participants highly appreciated the organization and content of the course, expressed hope for continued cooperation and exchange of experience with specialists from Lviv Polytechnic, and plan to continue studying European experience in various fields.
