Ukrainian School of Hospitality. Cooperation with Lviv Polytechnic University
On December 10, 2024, a meeting of the working group of the educational and professional program "Hotel and Restaurant Business" (associate professors of the Department of Tourism of the Vyacheslav Chornovil Institute of Sustainable Development of Lviv Polytechnic Maria Lushchyk, Yaroslava Moskvyak, Larisa Teodorovych) with stakeholders took place, including:
Olexandra Bura - General Director of Atlas Deluxe;
Mykhailo Shevelyuk - PhD in Cultural Studies, Head of the Hospitality School "Horeca School", Head of Educational and Production Workshops (Cooking Production) at the Lviv Professional College of Modeling and Restaurant Business, Manager of the "Swiss" Hotel;Oksana Trotsko - Executive Director/CEO of the Nota Bene Hotel and Restaurant Complex and the Nota Bene Loft Mini Hotel;Angelika Boyko - Business Consultant in the HORECA Sector, CEO of Grant Solution UA;Andriy Valovyi - founder of the 13chefs / 13шефів project, Pro100 HUB - gastronomic space.The participants of the event discussed:
updating the educational components of the program in accordance with market needs and constantly "building" the competitiveness of the OP;artificial intelligence, software and technologies that are changing the face of the industry;opportunities for students for internships, practice and employment.Following the meeting, the parties:
received valuable feedback from business representatives;outlined ways to cooperate with employers to improve practice-oriented training;agreed on ideas for future events and projects that should help our students become top managers in the hospitality industry.
