On February 15, 2026, the capital of Ukraine will host the “Best Taster of Ukraine 2026” competition at the InterContinental Kyiv Hotel.The event will take place for the third time and will be presented this year in a completely renewed format. It will bring together professional tasters as well as wine enthusiasts interested in gastronomy and the art of pairing food with beverages. The competition is organized by the Sommelier School “Master Class.”
According to the organizers, the concept of the event is based on a combination of classic blind-tasting challenges with tasks involving gastronomic pairings. This approach makes the competition appealing both to wine professionals and to a broader audience.
The goal of the competition is to develop tasting culture, enhance professional training standards, and promote wine education in Ukraine. The event also serves as an open platform for exchanging experience between industry specialists and wine enthusiasts.
