33 Ensuring Education Quality in HoReCa: Participating in the Educational Program Discussion at King Danylo University

I am glad to share news about an important step in the development of our domestic hospitality industry. Recently, I had the opportunity to join an expert discussion of the educational program "Hotel and Restaurant Business" at King Danylo University (UKD).

For me, as a practitioner and business representative, a key priority is always bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real market needs. This meeting became an effective platform for constructive dialogue among all stakeholders.

In an open discussion format, we met with fellow industry stakeholders, academic staff of the department, university management, and students. Our joint work focused on several priority areas:

• Adapting curricula to the modern realities and challenges of the HoReCa sector.

• Integrating practical experience and real business cases into the theoretical foundation.

• Developing practical skills in future graduates, allowing them to be highly competitive in the labor market immediately after graduation.

It is incredibly valuable to see King Danylo University's openness to qualitative changes and readiness to listen to business requests. The active stance of the students and the professional approach of the teachers confirm that the program is moving in the right direction.

I am confident that through such close synergy between education and business, we will be able to raise a new generation of professionals who will shape the future of the Ukrainian hospitality industry.

I thank the UKD management and all participants for the invitation and productive discussion. We continue working on the industry's development!
