The lecture series within the framework of the author’s course “Effective Service and Management: Key Components of Success in the Restaurant Business” is coming to an end. The course was organized by the Ukrainian School of Hospitality and the Center for Ukrainian and European Scientific Cooperation.

The permanent speaker of the course was Mykhailo Sheveliyk – an expert in the restaurant industry, Head of the Ukrainian School of Hospitality, and PhD in Cultural Studies.

The final lecture was dedicated to the topic: “Team Management: Motivation and Personnel Leadership.”

The speaker emphasized that the effectiveness of any organization primarily depends on people — how they manage production, operate equipment, and perform numerous labor processes. The lecture addressed both theory and practice, the role of personnel management within the system of sciences, the evolution of approaches to its essence and structure, key concepts and principles, methods and mechanisms, the significance of the human factor, as well as the laws and models of modern management.

Key issues relevant to managers at all levels of organizational leadership were explored in detail.

Participants expressed great satisfaction with the knowledge gained, and the session concluded with a lively discussion of the presented material.
