The Department of Food Technologies and Hotel and Restaurant Service of the Chernivtsi Institute of Trade and Economics of Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (CTEI KNUTE) brought together experts, scholars, and business representatives for a round table dedicated to the future of the hospitality industry amid global challenges.
The event took place within the framework of the international project “Bridging Theory and Practice in Cross-Border Education in Romania and Ukraine” and was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of CTEI KNUTE
The event was opened by Karina Palamarek, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of unity between education, science, and business.
A welcoming speech was delivered by Professor Mariia Paska, Head of the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business at Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture, who highlighted the role of innovation in the development of the HoReCa sector.
Among the speakers were also Anatolii Vdovychen, Director of CTEI KNUTE, and Iryna Losheniuk, Deputy Director.
The moderator of the event was Associate Professor Inna Danyliuk.
Speakers included representatives of education and business who shared practical cases, experiences, and inspiration:
- Olha Vdovichena - on training the new generation of professionals;
- Mykhailo Karpov - on HoReCa recovery after crises;
- Yurii Koroliuk - on digital innovations and project management;
- Liudmyla Hryhorovych - on hotel space safety during wartime.
The discussion was joined by representatives of Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Bobersky, V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Central Ukrainian National Technical University, and faculty members of CTEI KNUTE.
The atmosphere of the event was professional, warm, and inspiring.
