On April 23–24, 2025, the III International Scientific and Practical Forum"The Hospitality Industry: Current State, Development Trends and Future Prospects in the Context of European Integration and Wartime Challenges"took place at Lviv Polytechnic National University, hosted by the Department of Tourism.

As part of this event, Mykhailo Sheveliuk, Head of the Ukrainian School of Hospitality, service expert and master of industrial training, delivered a keynote speech titled: "How to Create a Service That Is Memorable from the First Glance"

In his speech, he addressed:– the key expectations of guests in 2025;– emotional service as a strategic advantage;– real-life hospitality cases during wartime from the “Swiss Hotel” and “Valentino” restaurant in Lviv.
