On December 17, 2021, the most large-scale event of the tourism industry took place at the InterContinental Kyiv — the award ceremony of the main national tourism prize, Ukraine Tourism Awards 2021. This event, organized by the State Agency for Tourism Development (DART) together with the "VISIT Ukraine" public union and the Kyiv Tourism Association, recognized the best market players who continued their work, improved service levels, and implemented innovative solutions. Special attention this year was dedicated to an incredibly important direction — accessible tourism.
We are incredibly proud of the achievements of the teams that prove in practice that Ukrainian service has no limits! According to the results of public voting and expert jury assessments:
• Swiss Hotel won the honorable 3rd place in the nomination "Accessible Tourism. Hospitality Without Limits".
• Valentino Restaurant took 2nd place in the nomination "Accessible Tourism. Comfortable Restoration".
At the grand gala show, these prestigious awards — the hearts of the Ukraine Tourism Awards, which are a symbol of sincere gratitude and deep respect — were accepted by the Marketing Manager of the hotel and restaurant, and the Head of the Ukrainian Hospitality School, Mykhailo Sheveliuk.
