88 Inspiring Practice: How MNAU Students Immersed Themselves in the World of Lviv Hospitality

On May 30–31, 2026, Lviv turned into a large and interactive educational platform for the future leaders of our industry. During these two days, we had the honor of hosting students majoring in "Hotel and Restaurant Business" and "Tourism and Recreation" from the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University (MNAU). It is especially pleasant to note that this rich educational and familiarization trip took place within the framework of the current memorandum of cooperation between the university and the Ukrainian School of Hospitality.

From Theory to Real Business

As the Head of the Ukrainian School of Hospitality and a stakeholder of the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Business and Tourism at MNAU, I was sincerely glad to personally introduce the students to the intricacies of the functioning of modern hotel and restaurant establishments. I always emphasize: the most valuable thing for a future professional is the opportunity not just to hear about the hotel business in lectures, but to see it in real operation, communicate with practitioners, and feel like a part of the industry.

To showcase different concepts and service standards, we organized a tour of famous establishments in our city. The students had the opportunity to study the work from the inside and experience the unique atmosphere of such venues:

Grand Hotel Lviv

Hotel Chopin

Best Western Plus

Capsule Hotel Constellation 91

Hotel "Vintage"

Restaurant "Valentino" and Hotel "Swiss", where I had the opportunity to personally conduct an excursion and a practical class.

Synergy of Science and Practice

Our immersion into the profession was not limited to business alone. Within the walls of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, the participants of the trip met with Professor Maria Paska. Ms. Maria solemnly presented certificates to those students who worthily presented their reports and took an active part in the scientific event.

Sincere Gratitude

I want to express my huge gratitude to Iryna Oleksiivna for the excellent cooperation, trust, and joint organization of this program! Our memorandum is in action, and together we are making an extremely important contribution to the development of our youth.

And my main gratitude goes to our students! Thank you for your deep and very interesting questions, for your involvement, and for the wonderful mood you gave all of us during these days. You gained new knowledge, and we received a massive boost of inspiration from you.

You are the future of Ukrainian hospitality! See you again in Lviv!
