From June 15 to June 21, 2026, the state attestation for graduates of the "Hotel and Restaurant Business" educational and professional program took place at the Lviv Vocational College of Food and Processing Industry of the National University of Food Technologies.
This is a crucial milestone for young specialists who have completed several years of diligent study and practical training. A State Examination Commission (SEC) was formed to assess the graduates' level of knowledge and skills.
We are honored to announce that the Chairman of the SEC for this year was the Founder and Head of the Ukrainian Hospitality School, restaurant service expert, and PhD in Culturology — Mykhailo Sheveliuk.
State Examination Commission Composition:
Chairman of the Commission — Mykhailo Sheveliuk (Head of the Ukrainian Hospitality School, Restaurant Manager at the Valentino restaurant in the Swiss Hotel, industry expert, PhD).
Deputy Chairman — Hryhoriy Didyk, College Director.
Commission Member — Nataliya Cherednyak, Head of the Hotel and Restaurant Business Cyclic Commission.
Secretary — Oksana Shnyak, Higher Category Lecturer.
Attestation Results and Skills Presentation
The examination commission, chaired by Mykhailo Sheveliuk, unanimously noted the high level of preparation among the graduates. The students demonstrated not only theoretical knowledge but also confident practical skills.
A key stage of the exam was the presentation of skills in preparing and serving delicious cocktails. The commission members emphasized that the young specialists are fully prepared for the real-world demands of the modern hotel and restaurant business.
